Curated vintage, presented
with care
Yarnold Antiques is a specialist vintage and antiques business based in the Cotswolds, dealing in one-of-a-kind pieces. Every item is personally sourced, restored where needed, and sold with provenance and care.
We advised on the right approach, designed the brand, and built the platform from scratch. These aren't impulse purchases — buyers want to see a piece in person, understand its history, and build trust before committing. The technology needed to reflect that. An enquiry-driven model with POA pricing, not a checkout button.
The site is a full e-commerce platform with a CMS-managed product catalogue, enquiry system, and brand identity designed to feel as considered as the stock itself. It's also one of the first sites trialling our Flux AI content assistant, giving Jess full control over her catalogue through conversation.
High-value antiques need a
different approach
When every piece is unique, a standard e-commerce checkout doesn't work. Buyers want to see provenance, understand history, view the piece in person, and build trust before committing. The technology needs to facilitate that conversation, not replace it.
The challenge was building a platform that presented high-value stock with the care it deserves, drove enquiries rather than impulse purchases, and gave Jess full control over her catalogue without needing technical skills. The site needed to feel as considered as the pieces themselves — premium, curated, and unhurried.
Every feature earned its place
Brand identity
Complete visual identity that reflects the business: warm, considered, and authentic. Logo, colour palette, typography, and tone of voice that works across web, packaging, and social media.
Product catalogue
Browseable catalogue with filtering by category, era, and price range. Each item presented with multiple photographs, provenance information, and a story about the piece.
POA enquiry system
Enquiry flow designed for high-value transactions. Buyers express interest with full item context attached. Enquiries go directly to Jess, starting a personal conversation rather than a cold transaction.
Flux AI content assistant
One of the first sites trialling our AI content assistant. Jess manages her catalogue through conversation — add new pieces, update descriptions, mark items as sold — without touching the CMS directly.
CMS-managed catalogue
Payload CMS backend giving full control over every listing. New items photographed, described, and published in minutes. Stock status, pricing, and categories all managed independently.
Photography direction
Art direction for product photography that captures character, not just appearance. Consistent lighting, styling, and composition across the entire catalogue. Each image tells a story.
A platform built for how
this business works
Yarnold Antiques now has a digital presence that matches the quality of the stock. The enquiry system drives meaningful conversations with serious buyers. New pieces go from sourced to listed within minutes through the CMS or the Flux AI assistant. The brand identity carries through from website to packaging to social media.
This project demonstrates the consultancy approach. We didn't drop a template on a business and walk away. We advised on the right model, designed a brand, built a platform tailored to how high-value antiques are actually sold, and delivered an AI-powered content system that keeps Jess in control without needing us for every update.
