Overview

Capital & Country Homes is a land promotion and housebuilding business with a 1,500-home flagship development in Swindon. They needed a professional web presence quickly. Their existing site didn't reflect the scale of what they were doing, and they were actively speaking to landowners and buyers who would judge the business by the website.

We designed and built a fast-turnaround brochure site as phase one. Two distinct audience journeys — landowners considering promotion agreements and buyers browsing developments — on a single, cohesive platform. GSAP animations throughout, static generation for performance, and structured for SEO from day one.

Phase two is already in planning: a full property web application with interactive house types, availability, specifications, and enquiry management.

Capital & Country Homes had a flagship 1,500-home development with planning secured and active conversations with landowners, agents, and buyers. Their web presence didn't match the seriousness of those conversations. They needed something professional, fast.

The challenge was building a site that served two very different audiences on the same platform. Landowners need to understand land promotion, the process, and why they should trust this business. Buyers need to see developments, house types, and feel confident in the quality. Both need to arrive at a contact point. And the whole thing needed to be live quickly, not in six months.

Dual-audience architecture

Two distinct user journeys on a single platform. Landowners land on a dedicated promotion funnel explaining the process and benefits. Buyers browse developments and house types. Both converge on clear contact points.

Development showcase

Flagship project presented with CGI renders, house type cards, status badges, and development details. Structured to scale as new sites come online in phase two.

GSAP animated frontend

Scroll-triggered reveals, staggered headline animations, and smooth transitions throughout. Desktop and mobile get separate hero treatments optimised for each viewport. Premium feel without performance cost.

Static generation and SEO

Astro pre-renders every page at build time. Fast loads, clean HTML, structured metadata. SEO architecture built in from day one so the site starts ranking immediately, not after a retrofit.

Landowner journey

A dedicated six-step process breakdown, benefit cards, land type guidance, and trust signals. Designed to take a landowner from curiosity to enquiry in a single session.

Contact integration

Enquiry forms with type selection placed strategically throughout both journeys. Every page designed to move qualified prospects — landowners or buyers — toward a conversation.

Capital & Country Homes went from an outdated web presence to a professional, animated, SEO-ready site in a short turnaround. Both audiences — landowners and buyers — now have dedicated journeys that communicate credibility and move toward enquiry.

The site is live and working as a lead generation tool while we plan phase two: a full property web application with interactive house types, real-time availability, specifications, and enquiry management. The brochure site was built with that evolution in mind — same stack, same architecture, ready to scale.
