Maison Mama is a membership community for mothers in the Cotswolds — curated events, expert-led talks, and real-world socials in beautiful local venues. Not another Facebook group. Something with structure, warmth, and intention.
We designed the brand and built the entire platform from scratch. Membership sign-ups with PayPal payments, a custom event management system, and a CMS that lets the founder create and manage everything independently. No technical knowledge required.
The frontend is built with GSAP-driven animations to give the site a premium, considered feel that matches the quality of the events themselves.
A platform that feels as
considered as the events
Off-the-shelf community tools are either too corporate or too chaotic. Mighty Networks feels like enterprise software. WhatsApp groups lose their thread within hours. Neither reflects the quality of what Maison Mama actually delivers.
The challenge was building a bespoke platform with structure and reliability, but warmth and personality. Membership sign-up and payment had to be frictionless. Event creation had to be simple enough for the founder to manage independently. The brand and frontend needed to feel premium on every device — especially mobile, because that's where the audience lives.

Brand identity
Complete brand system from scratch. Logo, colour palette, typography, tone of voice. Warm but not saccharine. Premium but not exclusionary. Everything designed to feel approachable and grown-up.
Membership and payments
PayPal-powered membership sign-up with automated welcome emails and account management. Members join, pay, and manage their own subscriptions without admin intervention.
Event management system
Custom-built event creation and listing system. The founder creates events, sets capacity, manages RSVPs, and publishes — all through the CMS without touching code.
Animated frontend
GSAP-powered animations throughout. Scroll-triggered reveals, smooth transitions, and micro-interactions that give the site a premium feel. Mobile-first, designed for the way the audience actually browses.
Custom CMS
A bespoke content management system giving the founder full control over events, pages, and community content. No developer needed for day-to-day updates. Built to be simple, not overwhelming.
Email integration
Automated transactional emails for membership confirmations, event reminders, and community updates. Consistent brand experience across every touchpoint.
